Abstract

The publication of articles in the field of veterinary medicine in Indonesia has increased. Analysis of articles that have been published has not been studied by many people. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of publications in the field of veterinary medicine contained in the Scopus Database and to determine the current research trends. The research method carried out was bibliometric analysis using Vos Viewer with SCOPUS-based data retrieval. The search used the keywords "veterinary" and "Indonesia" without being limited by the year of publication. This study will display data related to the number of publications by year, the level of author productivity, the most productive institutions, the source of publication, the type of publication, mapping, and research trends that occur. The results of the analysis of this study are that publications in the field of veterinary medicine in the Scopus database from year to year until 2020 have increased significantly. However, in 2021 there was a decrease. The most productive author Agung Priyono, IPB University as the most productive institution, the most publications are in journals, visualization with Vos Viewer shows there are 8 clusters. With this bibliometric analysis, researchers can find out the current research trends and can determine studies that have not been studied by many other researchers in the field of veterinary medicine with various variables shown in the Vos Viewer.
