Perbedaan Kebocoran Apikal pada Obturasi Saluran Akar Menggunakan Tiga Siler Berbahan Dasar Resin

Abstract


Salah satu upaya mencapai keberhasilan perawatan saluran akar adalah obturasi saluran akar yang fluid tight seal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kebocoran apikal pada obturasi saluran akar menggunakan tiga siler berbahan dasar resin yaitu siler AH-26, siler AH Plus dan siler EndoREZ.
Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 24 gigi insisivus pertama maksila. Semua subjek penelitian dilakukan preparasi saluran akar dengan teknik crown down pressureless (rotary instrument) dan obturasi dengan teknik single cone. Selanjutnya subjek penelitian dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok yang masing-masing terdiri atas 8 gigi, yaitu kelompok I diobturasi guta perca dan siler AH-26, kelompok II diobturasi guta perca dan siler siler AH Plus dan kelompok III diobturasi guta perca dan siler EndoREZ. Semua kelompok disimpan dalam inkubator pada suhu 37°C selama 7 hari dengan kelembaban 100%. Seluruh permukaan gigi dilapisi dua lapis cat kuku dan satu lapis malam perekat kecuali 2 mm bagian apikal dan direndam dilarutan metilen biru metilen 2% selama 1 minggu pada suhu 37°C. Selanjutnya cat kuku dibersihkan dan gigi dibelah arah longitudinal. Penetrasi warna diamati menggunakan mikroskop stereo dengan perbesaran 60x.
Hasil perhitungan statistik menggunakan Anava satu jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan bermakna antar seluruh kelompok perlakuan (p<0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebocoran apikal pada obturasi saluran akar mengunakan siler EndoREZ menunjukkan kebocoran apikal yang terkecil.

ABSTRACT
The one effort in order to achieve the successful root canal treatment is fluid tight seal root canal obturation. The aim of this study was to determine differences of apical leakage in root canal obturation using three resin-based sealers that were AH-26 sealer, AH Plus sealer and EndoREZ sealer.
Twenty four maxillary first incisors were used in this study. All study subjects performed root canal preparation with crown down pressureless technique (rotary instrument) and single cone obturation techniques. Furthermore, the study subjects were divided into 3 groups, each consisting eight teeth, the group I was obturated with Gutta percha and AH-26 sealer, group II was obturated with Gutta percha and AH Plus sealer and group III was obturated with Gutta percha and  EndoREZ sealer. All groups were stored in an incubator at 37°C for 7 days with 100% humidity. The entire surface of the tooth covered two coats of nail polish and one layer of sticky way except 2 mm apical sections and soaked in a solution of 2% methylene blue for 1 week at 37°C. Furthermore nail polish was removed and cut longitudinally. The penetration of the dye was observed using a stereo microscope with a dye 60x magnification.
The results of statistical calculations using one-way Anova followed by LSD test showed that there were significant differences between all treatment groups (p <0.05). The results of this study indicate that apical leakage of root canal obturation using EndoREZ Sealer showed the smallest apical leakage.
