Abstract
Low viscosity bulk fill composite resin is a restoration material with polymerization modulator on the monomer which serves to educe polymerisation shrinkage. Aim of this study was to determine the difference of low viscosity bulk fill composite resin
microleakage using ramped, pulsed-delay and conventional photoactivation technique on cavity preparation class I.
Twenty seven premolars were inserted by low viscosity bulk fill composite resin and lght-cured in accordance with one of the photoactivation techniques: ramped, pulsed-delay and conventional. Objects were soaked in 2% blue methylen solution for 24h, vertical divided and observed using stereo microscop at 50x magnification. The degree of microleakage was determined as the penetration depth of 2% blue methylen solution from coronal prior to apical in mm. Microleakage values weew analyzed using ANOVA (one-way analysis) and compared using post hoc test at 5% significance.
According to the data, there was statistical difference between pulsed-delay and conventional (p<0,05), pulsed-delay and ramped (p<0,05), there was no statistical difference between ramped and conventional (p>0,05). Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the lowest value of microleakage was found for pulsed-delay from those of ramped and conventional.
