Abstract
Nanofill composite resin is dental composite that can be used for anterior or posterior restoration. Because it has good esthetic and good mechanical properties. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of ramped, pulse-delayed, and conventional curing technique on microhardness of nanofill composite resin.
Thirty nanofill composite resin mould were cured with ramped, pulse-delayed, and conventional technique. The objek were stored at incubator with 37° degree for 24 hours. Objects were indented with pyramid 136° angle for 15 seconds with 200 grams load. The value of microhardness were calculated by Vickers microhardness tester (Buehler, Jerman). Data were analyzed by one way ANOVA and compared using post hoc test at 5% significance.
According the data, there was statistical difference between conventional and ramped (p<0,05), conventional and pulsedepayed (p<0,05), there was no statistical difference between ramped and pulse-delayed (p>0,05). Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the higher value of microhardness was found from covetional technique.
