Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the fastest GDP growth rates in Asia, where by 2050 predicted to be the fourth largest economy in the world in terms of purchasing power parity. This trajectory is supported by e-business that contributes GDP through the e-commerce sector in Indonesia where the role of foreign investors in this sector is also quite large. E-commerce activities in this case, require an internet network and cyber space as place to meet customer. Thus, the e-commerce sector in Indonesia is also as a target of cyber attacks, besides critical infrastructure, ideology, politics, economics, social and cultural issues. This research discuss implementation of military confidence building to respond various threats that may arise in Indonesian cyber sovereignty. This study uses qualitative approach with data collection through literature study and in-depth interviews. The results show that implementation of military confidence building to uphold national resilence in cyberspace consisted of three aspects, namely the exchange of information and communication, transparency and verification, and military restraint in the field of cyber.
