Abstract


The Work From Home (WFH) policy in Indonesia was implemented since March to control the spread of the coronavirus disease. The new regulation is unfortunately reinforced violence against women cases in the urban and rural areas. Data from Indonesia Agent of for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 shown that the number of reported cases increases by up to 75%. We study the impact of WFH policy on cases of violence against women. Secondary data are obtained from journals, books, and news related to issues of domestic violence from 2010 until 2020. The aim is to describe the problem of gender equality as a result of the implementation of the Work From Home policy. We use data of reported cases during a specific time to indicate the impact of new normal regulation on harassment toward women at home. In addition, this study specifically elaborates on the causes of the main  based on the literature approach.
