Students’ mental health is vital in higher education. Libraries serve as information hubs and spaces for relaxation, stress relief, and psychological support. This study explores library usage, key services and facilities for well-being, and the library’s role as a common space.

Research Methods. An exploratory sequential design is applied. The qualitative phase involves interviews and observations at UGM and UMY libraries to identify key indicators of services and facilities. These results inform the quantitative phase, using questionnaires distributed to 60 student users.

Data Analysis. Qualitative data are analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Quantitative data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression.

Results. Qualitative findings highlight the importance of consultation services, academic support, flexible spaces, and relaxation areas for student well-being. Quantitative analysis confirms significant effects of library services (t = 5.600; p < 0.001) and facilities (t = 5.300; p < 0.001), with a combined influence F = 29.732 (p < 0.001) and R² = 0.672.

Conclusion. Modern libraries should combine learning and relaxation functions. Strengthening design, technology, and psychosocial services through evaluation and collaboration is essential to create inclusive spaces that foster student mental health.
Perdaning Widyanti Harini Desi Utami Erna Mustika Indriani Sukarjono Sukarjono Copyright (c) 2025 Berkala Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-03 2025-12-03 21 2 265 279 10.22146/bip.v21i2.17376 Mapping research trends based on Tenopir taxonomy in Berkala Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi Journal https://journal.ugm.ac.id/v3/BIP/article/view/17574
Introduction. This study aims to map research trends based on the Tenopir taxonomy from one of the reputable journals in information and library science in Indonesia: the journal of Berkala Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi (BIP).

Research Methods. This quantitative descriptive research used a co-word analysis approach and subjects are grouped using Tenopir taxonomy.

Data Analysis. The data collected are 108 BIP journal articles from 2019-2023. Theywere analyzed using a reference management tool Zotero and microsoft excel then all data were processed using VOSviewer using Tenopir taxonomy.

Results. Mapping research trends in 2019 - 2023 based on keywords found 5 highest keywords subjects: [1] COVID-19, [2] library, [3] librarian, [4] archives and [5] bibliometrics. Meanwhile, based on the standardization results, we found [1] library science, [2] librarianship, [3] management, [4] social legal & ethical aspects of information and [5] archives. However, the study of information technology showed the peak in 2023. This shows that information technology is an important part of libraries and information dissemination, and can be predicted to be the next topic trend.

Conclusions. Mapping articles using the Tenopir taxonomy is effective to expand the theme of study as one theme can be executed to be several studies. This can be the focus and scope of articles to show the research trends in BIP journals.
Siti Rohaya Darofi Duwi Lestari Copyright (c) 2025 Berkala Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-03 2025-12-03 21 2 252 264 10.22146/bip.v21i2.17574 The impact of digital transformation on the satisfaction of circulation service users at the University of Bengkulu Library https://journal.ugm.ac.id/v3/BIP/article/view/13646
Introduction. This study evaluates user satisfaction with circulation services at the University of Bengkulu Library after the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper aims to understand how technology-based circulation services meet the needs of library users.

Research methods. A quantitative approach was adopted by collecting data from 254 valid online questionnaires from active students at the University of Bengkulu. The research instrument integrates the modified LibQUAL+ and End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) models.

Data analysis. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics, specifically one-way ANOVA, to assess the influence of demographic variables.

Result. The analysis results revealed overall user satisfaction with circulation services in the high category, despite a significant decline in post-pandemic physical book lending transactions. The four dimensions of measurement indicate a high level of satisfaction. However, there is a discrepancy between the information listed on the OPAC and the physical location of the collection, which suggests the need for better guidance in the search and organization of the collection.

Conclusion. Integrating the LibQUAL+ and EUCS models has proven effective in evaluating technology-based circulation services. EUCS dimensions, such as Access and Ease of Use, are particularly relevant for measuring performance and aligning the accuracy of OPAC information and physical storage locations.
Andi Saputra Nanik Rahmawati M. This research aims to examine virtual reality's potential in meeting museum visitors' information needs.

Research Methods. Quantitative methods were used with students of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who had accessed the Musdiknas virtual reality with a total of 316 people as participants.

Data Analysis. Data from questionnaires, observations, and literature studies were used for descriptive data analysis.

Results. Musdiknas virtual reality and social media have the characteristics of programmable participation, natural semantics, and constructivism to support efforts to meet visitors' information needs. Visitors use Musdiknas virtual reality as a learning tool to gain the experience and knowledge they need to meet their information needs.

Conclusion. Musdiknas strives to continue developing its environment by utilizing virtual reality as a form of adaptation to technology, providing meaning and experience through exhibitions that are displayed and accessed remotely, thereby meeting the information needs of museum visitors. Further, researchers can measure the relationship and influence between variables and research the use of virtual reality at other museum locations.
Hafsah Nugraha Agus Rusmana Ute Lies Siti Khadijah Copyright (c) 2025 Berkala Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-03 2025-12-03 21 2 343 358 10.22146/bip.v21i2.12836 Trends and evolution mapping of university library collaboration research https://journal.ugm.ac.id/v3/BIP/article/view/18229
Introduction. Collaboration among libraries is essential for addressing resource and collection limitations, and supporting the optimization of research and technology-based services.
