Abstract
Introduction. Effective educational methods are essential to enhance the independence and learning comprehension of homeschooling children, particularly in relation to botanical literacy. This study aims to improve parents' understanding of botanical literacy to support the learning process of homeschooling children through experiential learning.

The training was followed by a workshop on the philosophical values of plants. Data collection included pretests and posttests with 16 participants, as well as interviews with 6 individuals.
Data Analysis. Pretest and posttest data were analyzed descriptively to measure participants' improved understanding. Interview data were analyzed thematically and interpreted to identify patterns relevant to the research objectives.
Results and Discussion. The findings revealed an improvement in participants' understanding of plant diversity and philosophy. Participants gained new insights into the urgency of plant conservation and the importance of incorporating botanical curricula in homeschooling.
Conclusion. The knowledge gained encouraged parents to teach their children to appreciate nature and preserve biodiversity. Further research is needed to explore the informational needs of parents in supporting homeschooling children's literacy.
