Open access secara fulltext terhadap koleksi karya ilmiah di Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada
Abstract
Peran dari perpustakaan merupakan media penghubung bagi pemustaka untuk
mendapatkan koleksi yang dikelola oleh perpustakaan guna memenuhi kebutuhan
informasinya. Koleksi karya ilmiah meliputi skripsi, tesis, disertasi, laporan
penelitian dan tugas akhir. Adapun tampilan penyajian koleksi karya ilmiah dalam
bentuk digital bisa diihat sebagian informasi (judul, pendahuluan, kesimpulan,
daftar pustaka) saja, adapula yang bisa dilihat secara fulltext. Makalah ini
memaparkan secara deskriptif open access secara full text terhadap koleksi
karya ilmiah di Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi pada website
digilib.fib.ugm.ac.id. Analisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT (Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Manfaat penulisan makalah ini untuk
memberi gambaran bagi pemustaka, perpustakaan baik dari luar dan dalam
perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada, mengenai
kelebihan, kekurangan, peluang dan ancaman open access secara fulltext terhadap
koleksi karya ilmiah di Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah
