Abstract

Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi mempunyai peran penting dalam kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh perpustakaan Fakultas
Ekonomika dan Bisnis agar dapat mengoptimalkan perannya. Salah satu kegiatan yaitu mengidentifikasi permasalahan serta mencari solusi atas permasalahan
tersebut. Permasalahan yang ada dibagi dalam dua klasifikasi yaitu, permasalahan tentatif dan sistemik. Permasalahan tentatif bersifat temporal dan kondisional, yaitu permasalahan yang timbul karena proses perpindahan ruang perpustakaan dari gedung lama ke gedung baru yang berada di gedung Pusat
Pembelajaran. Permasalahan sistemik berkaitan dengan aspek kelembagaan, pendanaan, sumber daya manusia (sdm), koleksi bahan pustaka yang terbatas, dan minat baca. Temuan dari permasalahan yang ada selanjutnya dicarikan solusi. Solusi masalah menghasilkan rekomendasi antara lain, mempercepat proses
penataan ulang koleksi perpustakaan di gedung yang baru agar koleksi dapat segera dipinjam kembali. Loker untuk penitipan tas dan terminal komputer untuk
mengakses karya akhir mahasiswa segara dapat difungsikan. Solusi untuk permasalahan yang bersifat sistemik antara lain, perpustakaan perlu melakukan kolaborasi dengan stakeholder, meningkatkan kompetensi sdm, serta meningkatkan layanan koleksi digital.
