Keterampilan sosial Pustakawan dalam membangun citra profesi Pustakawan
Abstract
Usia profesi pustakawan Indonesia telah memasuki dekade ke 3, tetapi sampai saat ini usia dan citra yang terbentuk belum linear. Citra pustakawan ditengah masyarakat atau pengakuan pemerintah terhadap profesi pustakawan belum seperti citra atau pengakuan terhadap profesi lain. Membangun citra profesi membutuhkan ketrampilan dan hanya dapat dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang berkecimpung didalamnya. Tiga alternatif pendekatan dalam membangun citra pustakawan yang dapat di buttom-up, top down atau kombinasi.
