<p>Media Informasi merupakan Jurnal terbitan Perpustakaan UGM sebagai wadah bagi pustakawan dan pemerhati perpustakaan dan informasi untuk menerbitkan karya ilmiah di bidang kepustakawanan dan informasi. Media Informasi diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun (Juni dan Desember). Mulai Volume 32 Nomor 1, Media Informasi terbit online. Artikel yang diterbitkan dapat berupa model dan konsep pemikiran, <em>best practise</em>, review literatur dan hasil penelitian yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan perpustakaan dan kepustakawanan. Setiap artikel memuat informasi mutakhir yang mengutamakan konsep-konsep dari sumber informasi terbaru, asli, dan mempunyai nilai manfaat. Artikel yang terbit telah melalui proses editorial dan <em>review</em>. Bagi pustakawan dan pemerhati perpustakaan yang ingin mengirimkan artikel, silakan <strong>sign up</strong> sebagai penulis lalu <strong>login</strong> untuk mengirimkannya. <p><em>Librarian work motivation is very important to improve service quality. This study aims to analyze the work motivation of librarians at the Bank Indonesia Solo Library using Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory. This research is a field research, which uses data collection techniques in the form of documentation and interviews. The informants of this research are librarians of Bank Indonesia Solo Branch. Data analysis uses Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory. The results showed that librarians' work motivation is influenced by the fulfillment of basic needs, namely adequate salaries; security needs, namely a comfortable work environment; social needs, namely the LENTERA (Learning Literacy on Friday) program, news summaries, and e-cliping; appreciation needs, namely the Bank Indonesia Library Librarian Communication Forum event which gives awards to the most active librarians and accredited libraries; and self-actualization needs, namely online seminars from the National Library and Bank Indonesia Headquarters, and the “Limas Nusantara” program which contains daily library programs. </em></p> <p><em><strong>Keywords:</strong> Work Motivation; Librarian; Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs; Bank Indonesia Solo Library; Job </em></p>TriningsihAnis MasruriNi Putu Premierita Haryanti

<p><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p> <p><em>Information literacy programs systematically help individuals develop skills to find, evaluate, and use information. This study analyses effective strategies in library information literacy programs in the academic environment. This research uses a mixed-method sequential explanatory; this study began with collecting quantitative data from 72 librarians at various universities in Indonesia, followed by qualitative interviews with library leaders. The results of the study show that the competence of librarians influences the success of the library information literacy program, the availability of relevant programs, and the active participation of students. This study concludes the need for continuous training for librarians, designing programs that are responsive to the needs of students, and strengthening cooperation between libraries and faculties to increase the effectiveness and participation in information literacy programs in the academic environment. This research emphasizes that developing strategic and adaptive information literacy programs can improve students' information literacy skills, support academic achievement, and strengthen the role of libraries as learning centres in universities.</em></p>Herman SetyawanFr.
