SEAJ-ALGOV implements a double-blind peer review mechanism. With a double‐blind review approach, the identity of the both the author(s) and reviewer are unknown to both parties.
Each submitted manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent peer reviewers. Additional reviewers may be involved where the initial reviews yield divergent or inconclusive recommendations.
Editorial decisions are made by the Editorial Board after careful consideration of the reviewers’ reports. Where revisions are deemed necessary, authors will be required to revise and resubmit their manuscripts until the Editorial Board considers the submission satisfactory for publication.
SEAJ-ALGOV maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and self-plagiarism. All submissions may be subjected to plagiarism screening using appropriate detection software. Similarity checks are conducted to identify overlapping content, and authors are therefore required to employ proper quotations and citations whenever relevant. Ensuring that a manuscript is free from plagiarism and academic misconduct remains the primary responsibility of the author. Prior to publication, the Editorial Board conducts a further verification process, which includes plagiarism checks against internal databases and, where feasible, external online sources.
