The Academic Hospital Journal (AHJ) is an open-access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to the publication of novel research in all aspects of health issues in a hospital setting, including clinical and non-clinical research, hospital management, and health technology. AHJ is published two times a year (March and September) and includes original articles, case reports, and literature reviews. A strong preference is given to research that has the potential to make significant contributions to both the field of health issues and society in general.
AHJ is published by the Universitas Gadjah Mada Academic Hospital and is nationally accredited by the Directorate General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia, Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, valid until Vol. 9 No. 1, 2027. It is currently available in printed edition with ISSN 2615-6245 and in online edition with ISSN 2615-6253.
Submitting to the journal
AHJ uses an online submission and peer review platform, which allows authors to track the progress of their manuscript. Only submissions made through this platform are accepted, with submitting authors required to create an AHJ account. Manuscripts submitted by any other means are automatically discarded.
