Decision Support System for Selection of Trainees Using Modified Delphi, AHP and PROMETHEE Methods

Abstract

The selection of trainees aims to get the trainees that suit training goals and objectives. Selection assessment of trainees based on agreed criteria. The criteria for selection assessment of trainees in BLK Bantul have not been written, so each assessor has different criteria according to their own ideas. Selection decisions are dominated by interview assessment results and not yet based on the assessment of the entire selection process. The announcement of election results are not based on the ranking of the selection participants, but only announced the selection participants who passed the selection. To overcome these problems, a model of decision support system is needed that can assist in the selection of trainees in BLK Bantul.

Decision support system built using Modified Delphi, AHP and PROMETHEE methods. Modified Delphi used to define the criteria in the assessment. AHP to obtain the criteria weight based on priority. PROMETHEE produces the ranking of the selection participants. The assessment results using Modified Delphi-AHP-PROMETHEE compared with the assessment results using AHP-PROMETHEE and Modified Delphi-AHP-TOPSIS to find the most appropriate method to be applied.

After testing the proposed systems and methods, the results of the research indicate that the most appropriate method to apply the decision support system of the trainee selection in BLK Bantul is by using the Delphi Modified Method, AHP and PROMETHEE.
