Karia, Abdul Aziz holds the position of Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Management (Economic Forecasting) in 2014, and his Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Business Economics in 2011 from Universiti Teknologi MARA. His research interests include economic forecasting, crude palm oil price modelling, taxation and economic growth, external debt, and macroeconomic analysis. He has published in various academic journals, includ- ing the Gadjah Mada International Journal of Business, Journal of Applied Statis- tics, Journal of Economic Structures, and Cogent Economics & Finance.

Taufik Abd Hakim

Hakim, Taufik Abd, holds the position of Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. He is also the Coordinator of the AAGBS (MBA & DBA) Center of Postgraduate Studies, UiTM Sabah, Malaysia. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Management (Economics) from Uni- versiti Teknologi MARA. His research interest include taxation, macroeconomics, and panel data econometrics. He has published in Cogent Economics & Finance, International Journal of Financial Research, Procedia Economics and Finance, Asian Economic and Financial Review, and Journal of Business and Retail Man- agement Research.
