Abstract
unintentional, did not know they left their electrical
home appliances such as air conditioners, televisions,
lights, etc. still in an active state when leaving their
homes, so we need a system that can wirelessly
monitor the electricity usage in their homes. In this
study, it has been designed a system that can monitor
the use of electrical equipment which used in the
home. This system utilize the internet via mobile
phone technology to monitor electric power usage at
home and control their use by user’s mobile phone. To
process the data output from current and voltage
sensor which used to measure the values of electric
current and voltage, it use AT Mega 128
Microcontroller with 10-bit ADC inside. The results of
this study is a package of both hardware and software
for mobile phones and for home monitoring server.
