Abstract
In 2019 The US President was signing space policy directive IV which raised controversies across the globe. This decision is astonishing in recall that the 1968 Outer Space Treaty (the OST) in Art IV was prohibited from using the military by aggressive means. Furthermore, the space force will threaten the third-tier country like Indonesia and others to secure its own space assets, and since long ago Indonesia has actively promoted use of outer space peacefully. Finally, this paper will examine what the position of space force under the OST 1968 and how Indonesia should deal with it through socio-legal approach.
Intisari
