Kajian Literatur : Efektivitas dan Efek Samping Sertralin Pada Pasien Depresi

Abstract


Depresi ialah kondisi mental yang banyak terjadi pada usia dewasa. Pada depresi berat memerlukan terapi antidepresan. Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) adalah pilihan pertama. Terapi sertralin menjadi salah satu terapi yang banyak dianjurkan pada pasien depresi dengan mempertimbangkan efektivitas dan efek berikutnya. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas dan keamanan sertralin dan pengaruh efek samping pada remisi pada pasien depresi. Pencarian literatur pada studi ini dilakukan dengan database PubMed, Clinical Key, dan Cochrane yang diterbitkan 10 tahun terakhir dengan metode RCT. Ditemukan sebanyak 105 artikel dan 8 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria peneliti, 6 artikel diantaranya membahas efektivitas dan keamanan terapi sertralin, dan 2 artikel lain membahas hubungan efek samping dengan tingkat remisi depresi. Secara keseluruhan tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan pemberian sertralin monoterapi dengan antidepresan lain. Efek samping yang disebabkan oleh sertralin ringan – berat, hanya 2 artikel yang menyatakan adanya hubungan efek samping dengan tingkat remisi, sehingga belum dapat disimpulkan secara pasti.
