This section provides essential information and guidelines for authors. We recommend that authors take the time to read this information and guidelines before submitting a manuscript to AIST.

Writing Guideline

1. Submitted manuscripts for review process must contain Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion. Manuscripts should be submitted without author names and affiliations.
2. Title consists of 12 words at most.
3. Abstract must contains the sections: introduction, research purposes, methodology, results and conclusions. The length of abstract is between 200-250 words with a proportional composition between the sections.
4. Keywords contain four up to eight words.
5. Introduction must be a research gap, which explains the important aspects of the article/research, and there must be a paper objective that shows the novelty/contribution of the research.
6. The chapter describing the methodology should describe aspects of how the research was conducted.
7. Results and Discussion may be made into more than one chapter. Explain the novelty/contribution of the research in more detail in this chapter.
8. Total words from introduction to conclusion 5000-8000 words, excluding figures, tables, figure captions, digests, and references.
9. The number of combinations of figures and tables is 9-15, adjusted to the length of the paper in point 8.
10. Manuscripts that are accepted for publication must be written following the template provided.
11. To support research transparency and reproducibility, authors are strongly encouraged to make available any source code, electronic circuit designs, simulation models, or datasets used in the study. These materials should be accessible through trusted repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, or institutional repositories, and properly cited in the manuscript. This allows other researchers to replicate or build upon the work more effectively.

Submission Guideline

1. The submitted manuscript has not been published anywhere and is not currently being submitted to another journal.
2. Manuscripts are submitted online by one of the authors through the AIST website. The manuscript is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
3. The submitting author takes responsibility for the manuscript during the submission and peer review.
4. The submitting author takes responsible for ensuring that the manuscript has been approved by all co-authors and meets the necessary institutional approvals.
5. If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors permit editing of the manuscript for readability.

Peer Review Process

For the submitted manuscript, the Editor will first consider if it meets minimum editorial standards and fits within the scope of the journal. Similarity checks and usage of AI will be conducted.

If the manuscript meets the requirements, the next step is the review process. The review process is carried out by reviewers by applying double-blind peer review, approving the article received, and requesting repairs.  After that, the results of the review will be sent back to the author for improvement. Decisions to accept or reject are at the discretion of the Editor.

Article Processing Charges
The journal is open access. Article Processing Charges (APCs) allow the publisher to make articles immediately available online to anyone to read and reuse upon publication. If the article is accepted for publication, the author will be asked to pay for APC of US$200 (non-Indonesian author) or IDR1.500.000 (Indonesian author). This journal provides a waiver or discount on publication fees for authors under certain conditions.
