Acta Regenerativa Nusantara (ARN) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing regenerative science, biomedicine, tissue engineering, and translational healthcare innovation. The journal provides an interdisciplinary forum for publishing high-quality original research, reviews, perspectives, short communications, and thematic monographs that deepen our understanding of the biological principles and technological innovations underlying the repair, replacement, restoration, and regeneration of damaged tissues and organs.
The name "Nusantara" reflects the rich biodiversity, abundant natural resources, and diverse reservoir of bioactive molecules found across Indonesia and the surrounding archipelagic and Asia-Pacific regions. These unique biological and geological assets provide an exceptional foundation for innovation in biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and biopharmaceutical development. The journal seeks to connect fundamental biological insights with advances in biomaterials, bioengineering, and clinical medicine, accelerating the translation of regenerative technologies into safe, effective, and accessible therapeutic solutions.
Expanding beyond the conventional journal model, Acta Regenerativa Nusantara features a dedicated series of thematic monographs focused on emerging and strategically important areas of regenerative science and biomedicine. The Editorial Board identifies rapidly evolving topics and invites distinguished Guest Editors to curate each collection, bringing together authoritative contributions from internationally recognized researchers. These monographs provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art perspectives that complement the journal's regular issues and serve as valuable reference resources for researchers, clinicians, educators, and innovators working across regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, biomaterials, biotechnology, and related biomedical disciplines.
To enhance scientific communication and knowledge exchange, each volume is presented with high-quality scientific illustrations, graphical summaries, and full-colour figures, creating an engaging and accessible resource that supports both fundamental discovery and translational innovation.
