Variasi topik penelitian Pustakawan untuk menunjang reputasi Universitas pada level internasional

Abstrak

Perpustakaan merupakan markas untuk mencari ilmu pengetahuan yang berguna untuk meningkatkan literasi masyarakat. Pustakawan perlu berkolaborasi dengan akademisi untuk memulai budaya riset. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah ada korelasi antara peringkat perguruan tinggi berdasarkan Webometric dengan variasi penelitian tentang perpustakaan pada paper berstandar internasional. Studi ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan teknik data mining. Sampel studi ini yaitu karya ilmiah yang tercantum pada halaman web scopus. Sampel berasal dari UI, ITB, dan Universitas Brawijaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi ranking universitas, semakin banyak pula varian subtopik papernya. Selain itu, studi tentang kepustakaan selalu berkaitan dengan teknologi informas dan big data.
