Experiential Learning dan Daur Belajar sebagai Metode Belajar Berbasis Pengalaman

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep metode belajar di Sanggar Anak Alam (SALAM) yaitu Daur Belajar dan experiential  learning  oleh David A.  Kolb.  Metode  penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur terhadap  penelitian  yang berkaitan dengan experiential learning dan metode Daur Belajar. Hasil penelitian metode Daur  Belajar  dan experiential learning saling berkaitan, kedua metode belajar tersebut berpusat pada bagaimana  pengalaman  peserta  didik  dapat  ditimbulkan  sebagai proses dari lahirnya  pengetahuan.  Siklus  belajar dilakukan  berulang-ulang  secara  berurutan  dari  mulai  peserta  didik mengalami pengalaman, menungkapkan,  menganalisis,  menyimpulkan,  dan  menerapkan  hingga  peserta didik dapat mencapai pengetahuannya sendiri. Kebebasan yang diberikan oleh SALAM dalam mencapai pengetahuan menjadi sarana peserta didik untuk dapat secara leluasa bereksperimen, eksplorasi, dan ekspresikan.
