Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia (Indonesian Journal of Plant Protection, Indones. J. Plant Prot.) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on the study of pests and diseases affecting crops and agricultural commodities. Its scope encompasses a wide range of diciplines, including but not limited to acarology, bacteriology, climatology, entomology, environmental chemistry, integrated pest management, mycology, microbiology, nematology, pesticide toxicology, pest vertebrate, plant pest and disease ecology, and virology. The journal welcomes full-fledged research, reviews of scientific works, and short notes/communications.
Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia is published semi-annually (i. e. July and December) by the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, in collaboration with Entomological Society of Indonesia (Perhimpunan Entomologi Indonesia, PEI) and Indonesian Phytopathological Society (Perhimpunan Fitopatologi Indonesia, PFI). It is a nationally accredited scientific journal (SINTA 2), recognized by the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia under Decree Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, valid until 2028.
