Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia (Indonesian Journal of Plant Protection, Indones. J. Plant Prot.) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the publication of pests and diseases of crops and commodities, includes, but is not limited to, the disciplines of acarology, bacteriology, climatology, entomology, environmental chemistry, integrated pest management, mycology, microbiology, nematology, pesticide toxicology, pest vertebrate, plant pest and disease ecology, and virology. It accepts full-fledged research, reviews of scientific works, and short notes/communication.

Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia (Indonesian Journal of Plant Protection, Indones. J. Plant Prot.) is published semi-annually (i. e. July and December) by the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, in collaboration with Entomological Society of Indonesia (Perhimpunan Entomologi Indonesia, PEI) and Indonesian Phytopathological Society (Perhimpunan Fitopatologi Indonesia, PFI). It is a nationally accredited scientific journal (Sinta 2), based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, valid until 2028.
