From its establishment in 2019 until 2025, the management of Global South Review (GSR) has been fully supported by internal funding from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
In an effort to enhance the journal’s services, expand its outreach, increase engagement with authors, and provide appropriate remuneration for reviewers, GSR will introduce an Article Processing Charge (APC) starting from Volume 1, 2026.
The APC policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its alignment with GSR’s core mission of disseminating Global South perspectives and fostering inclusivity among Global South scholars.
