Some regions currently have very high population densities and are developing into centers of economic growth. However, issues such as unemployment and poverty are likely to occur in these areas. Other regions' economies are lagging far behind because they are not desirable places to live. One way to address these issues is population relocation or transmigration. These resettled residents generally make their primary livelihoods as farmers. Based on this, Agro Ekonomi facilitates experts, researchers, and stakeholders to share their research and knowledge in a special issue, "Agricultural Development in Regional Migration Areas of Developing Countries: Opportunities and Challenges."
