Peer Review Process
Initial review will be carried by editorial staff for all submitted manuscripts. Those manuscripts that did not meet JISPH criteria will be rejected without external review. Potential manuscripts will be sent to blind peer reviews. Editors will make decision based on reviewer's recommendation from among several possibilities: accepted, require minor revision, require major revision, or rejected.
The Editor-in-Chief of JISPH has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.

Journal of Information Systems for Public Health published three issues a year in April, August, and December

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Journal Description
Journal of Information Systems for Public Health (JISPH) is an open-access journal using the Open Journal System (OJS). Initiated by Health Information Management System (SIMKES), Department of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
This journal is intended as a communication medium for those who are interested in information systems and public health informatics, such as researchers, academics, students, health office practitioners, the Ministry of Health, or healthcare practitioners.
JISPH already has ISSN, both printed 2089-2683 and an electronic version 2089-2675. JISPH is published three times a year in April, August, and December. The journal will publish manuscripts in the form of a research article, study protocol, technical advance article, software article, or case report. All submitted manuscripts will go through the double-blind peer review and editorial review before being granted acceptance for publication.
