Journal of Information Systems for Public Health (JISPH) is an open-access journal initiated by Health Information Management System (SIMKES), Department of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada. JISPH already has ISSN, both printed 2089-2683 and an electronic version 2089-2675. JISPH is published three times a year in April, August, and December. All submitted manuscripts will go through the double-blind peer review and editorial review through Open Journal System where authors, editors, reviewers can monitor the manuscript processing.

The journal publishes manuscripts in the form of a research article, study protocol, information systems design, prototype, or case report. JISPH is intended as a communication medium for those who are interested in health informatics, such as researchers, academics, students, and practitioners. The journal focuses on the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of information systems for strengthening health systems and public health.
