Latihan Kegel untuk Menurunkan Inkontinesia Urine Pasien Post-Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP)

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Inkontinensia urine (IU) adalah komplikasi yang sering timbul setelah tindakan Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP). Kondisi tersebut dapat diatasi dengan latihan kegel karena mampu meningkatkan daya tahan otot dasar panggul sehingga meningkatkan resistensi uretra dan memperbaiki kemampuan berkemih serta mudah dilakukan secara mandiri, kapan saja, dan dimana saja.
Tujuan: Menganalisis efektifitas latihan kegel terhadap skor inkontinensia urinepasien pasca-TURP
Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen dengan besar sampel 64 responden yang diambil dengan metode systematic random sampling (32 kelompok intervensi, 32 kelompok kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner ICIQ-UI-SF untuk mengukur inkontinensia urin. Analisis data penelitian dengan uji Paired t-test dan uji Independen t-test dengan derajat kemaknaan α<0,05.
Hasil: Hasil uji statistik Paired t-test menunjukkan latihan kegel mampu menurunkan skor inkontinensia urin pada pasien pasca-TURP dengan p=0,000 dan CI=0,688, dan hasil uji statistik Independent t-test didapatkan perbedaan skor inkontinensia urine pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol pasca-latihan kegel dengan p=0,000.
Kesimpulan: Latihan kegel secara efektif menurunkan skor inkontinensia urinepasien pasca-operasi TURP.
