Pengaruh Latihan Fisik terhadap Kesehatan Pelaku Rawat Informal Lansia Demensia: Meta Analisis

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Lanjut usia dengan demensia sering mengalami keadaan putus asa yang mencakup perasaan tidak berdaya, frustrasi dengan lingkungan mereka, ketergantungan ekonomi pada anggota keluarga, dan ketidakmampuan untuk bersosialisasi dengan orang lain. Berbagai respons baik positif maupun negatif yang dialami oleh pelaku rawat menunjukkan bahwa menjadi pelaku rawat bagi penderita demensia merupakan hal sulit dan dapat mengakibatkan munculnya gangguan kesehatan.

Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh latihan fisik terhadap kondisi kesehatan pelaku rawat informal.

Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Meta Analysis menggunakan tools Review Manager (RevMan) 5.4. Metode pencarian dan pemilihan artikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan tools Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) pada artikel yang diterbitkan periode 2015-2021 di beberapa database seperti CINAHL, PubMed, EBSCO, dan ProQuest.

Hasil: Hasil analisis didapatkan nilai p=0,15 yang berarti bahwa latihan fisik tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kondisi kesehatan pelaku rawat demensia, hal ini juga dapat dilihat pada diagram forest plot yang menunjukkan gambaran blok secara keseluruhan (diamond) yang memotong garis vertikal Ho (d = 0).

Kesimpulan: Latihan fisik bukan menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi kondisi kesehatan pelaku rawat pada lansia dengan demensia, namun perlu memperhatikan faktor lain yang jauh lebih berpengaruh terhadap kondisi kesehatan pelaku rawat jika dibandingkan dengan latihan fisik.
