Manfaat dan Tantangan Penggunaan Herbal pada Masa Nifas: Scoping Review

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Penggunaan herbal selama masa nifas dapat mendukung pemulihan fisik dan kesejahteraan emosional ibu. Namun, interaksi potensial antara herbal dan obat konvensional perlu diperhatikan karena dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas pengobatan atau menyebabkan efek samping. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi ibu untuk mengonsultasikan penggunaan herbal dengan tenaga kesehatan guna memastikan keselamatan dan kesehatan diri serta bayinya.
Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi manfaat dan tantangan penggunaan herbal pada masa nifas.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain scoping review berbasis PRISMA. Sebanyak 8.298 artikel diidentifikasi dari PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, dan WorldCat. Artikel disaring berdasarkan kriteria inklusi, yaitu diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2024, serta tersedia dalam bentuk full text. Hasilnya, 14 artikel memenuhi kriteria dan dianalisis.
Hasil: Analisis menunjukkan penggunaan herbal pada masa nifas membantu pemulihan fisik dan kesejahteraan emosional ibu. Tantangan meliputi keselamatan penggunaan, dosis yang tepat, dan potensi interaksi dengan obat konvensional.
Kesimpulan: Pengunaan herbal dapat meningkatkan kesehatan ibu pada masa nifas, namun tantangan seperti kurangnya regulasi dan informasi keamanan memerlukan kolaborasi lintas sektor.Keywords
