Abstract

The legal aid clinics in Yogyakarta District Court are established with the involvement of six universities. This institution is designed to accommodate both individuals and collective justice seeker who cannot afford trial costs. Based on the research, it is concluded that the implementation of the program of legal aid in civil cases has not been observed optimally. Compared with the legal aid organizations that have long been providing legal assistance for poor people, the existence of legal aid post in the district court has not been widely known by the public.
