Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan pada Pasien yang Mendapatkan Terapi Warfarin

Abstract
Keberhasilan penggunaan warfarin yang aman dan efektif dapat dicapai melalui pemberian informasi dan edukasi yang relevan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasien. Informasi mengenai sejauh mana pemahaman pasien terhadap obat warfarin sangat diperlukan. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi tingkat pengetahuan pasien mengenai penggunaan obat antikoagulan warfarin. Penelitian ini merupakan studi prospektif cross-sectional yang melibatkan 83 pasien yang mendapatkan terapi warfarin di dua instalasi rawat jalan rumah sakit pemerintah. Modifikasi Oral Anticoagulant Knowledge (MOAK) yang telah reliabel dan valid digunakan untuk menilai pengetahuan pasien tentang warfarin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan pasien tergolong rendah dengan rerata skor pengetahuan 28,5% (SD±19,07). Sejumlah 11 responden (13,3%) memiliki kategori rendah (rerata skor MOAK > 50%), 70 responden (84,3%) memiliki pengetahuan kategori sedang (rerata skor MOAK 50%-30%), dan 2 responden (2,4%) memiliki kategori baik (rerata skor MOAK < 30%). Pengetahuan yang paling dikuasai oleh pasien adalah pengetahuan mengenai indikasi obat warfarin (82,85%) sementara itu pengetahuan terendah adalah pada pertanyaan mengenai interaksi obat warfarin dengan vitamin K (12,85%) dan cara melakukan diet selama mengkonsumsi warfarin (12,85%). Mayoritas pengetahuan pasien tergolong masih rendah sehingga diperlukan peran yang lebih aktif dari tenaga kesehatan khususnya farmasi dalam memberikan informasi dan edukasi yang lebih berfokus kepada kesenjangan pengetahuan terbanyak yang dialami oleh pasien.
