Indonesian Journal of Biomedicine and Clinical Sciences (InaJBCS) is the new name of the Journal of the Medical Sciences which is published online at Jurnal.ugm.ac.id/bik. The first issue of InaJBCS began with Volume 56 Number 1 of 2024 and continues the publication of the Journal of Medical Sciences Volume 55 Number 4 of 2023.

Journal of Medical Sciences (Berkala Ilmu Kedokteran) has been published since 1973. Journal of Medical Sciences (Berkala Ilmu Kedokteran) Accredited by Directorate of General Higher Education, the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia:

a. Number: 55a/DIKTI/Kep/2006 (Volume 38 Number 4  2006 until Volume 41 Number 3 2009)

b. Number: 30/E/KPT/2018 (Volume 47 Number 1 2015 until Volume 51 Number 4 2019)

c. Number 36/E/KPT/2019 (Volume 51 Number 4 2019 until Volume 56 Number 3 2024)
