Kesetiaan Palsu: Eksploitasi Petani Tembakau di Temanggung
Abstract
Tembakau merupakan salah satu komoditas utama di Gunung Sumpena. Pertanian tembakau berjalan setiap tahun dengan menghasilkan ribuan ton keranjang tembakau sebagai salah satu pendapatan utama petani tembakau. Dalam menjalankan pertaniannya, petani menemukan persoalan terutama relasi produksi yang berjalan secara eksploitatif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya aktor tembakau yang bekerja dengan makanisme tertentu untuk merampas nilai tembakau petani. Hal ini lantas memicu pertanyan: mengapa petani tetap menanam tembakau meski nilai tembakaunya dirampas? Bagaimana kesadaran palsu berlangsung dan direproduksi oleh petani? Melalui perspektif dinamika kelas dan kesadaran palsu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana relasi eksploitasi tersebut terlembaga dan bagaimana konstruksi kesetiaan palsu (false loyalty) terjadi di kalangan petani.
