Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • all authors agree to submit in this journal
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The article is written following the template provided for this journal

Author Guidelines

To ease the author, please download the following template available in English or Bahasa Indonesia

The journal accepts three types of articles: (1) Review articles, (2) Research Letters, and (3) Research articles. Please note that each type of article has different in length. The word count for both Review and Research articles are 50,000 words, respectively. While word count for research Letters is up to approximately 6,000 words. For those three-type article, the counting is including figures, which are counted as 350 words each. Excluded from the word count are title, author lists, references, and all supplementary materials.

Preparing your manuscript

Title page

The title page should:
1. Present a title that includes, if appropriate, the research design or for non-research studies: a description of what the article reports.
2. List the full names, institutional addresses and email addresses for all authors
3. Indicate the corresponding author

Abstract

The abstract should briefly summarize the aim, findings or purpose of the article. Please minimize the use of abbreviations and do not cite references in the abstract. Abstract should be written in English-only (if the entire manuscript is written in English) or both English and Bahasa Indonesia (if the entire manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia) in a single paragraph with maximum of 250 words

Keywords

Three to five keywords representing the main content of the article.

Main text

This should contain the body of the article, and may also be broken into subsections with short, informative headings.

References

Journal of Geospatial Sciences and Technology follow the Basic Springer reference style. All the references that used in the article must be listed in this part and, and is written consistently. In this part, all the used references must be taken from latest primary sources/scientific journals
