Model Persebaran Parameter Petrofisika Reservoir Batupasir Formasi Puffin, Kapur Atas, Sub-Cekungan Vulcan, Cekungan Bonaparte, Australia Utara
Abstrak
The high complexity of the basins in Eastern Indonesia has resulted in minimal exploration in the region, making further study of the Puffin Formation in the Bonaparte Basin, as the nearest proven area, necessary. The elements analyzed are reservoirs for modeling the distribution of reservoir petrophysical parameters, including shale volume, effective porosity, and water saturation. From the cutoff results of these petrophysical parameters, net sand and net pay were obtained. Based on the analysis conducted, it was found that the Puffin Formation reservoir consists of five intervals: reservoirs A, B, C, D, and E. The most prospective area, based on the interpolation of petrophysical parameters across the five reservoirs and four study wells, is reservoir A at well 2. With these parameters, the net sand results indicate that Reservoir A at Well 2 is a good reservoir. A cutoff was then performed using water saturation, where the reservoir has a low saturation value. Therefore, Reservoir A at Well 2 has a high net pay value and is a prospective area. Based on the net pay map displayed, exploration development can be directed toward the south.
