Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  2. Manuscript follows the Sequence of title page, abstract, and keywords, Introduction, method,  discussion, conclusion, suggestion and references.
  3. References listed in APA format. All references listed in the reference section are cited in the text.
  4. Maximum word count for abstract is 200 words.
  5. Manuscript is suitable for blind review process (author’s name, email address, and affiliation are omitted from the manuscript)
  6. The abstract is provided in English and Bahasa (unless the manuscript is in full English)
  7. All table and figure numbers are found in the text
  8. Manuscript from thesis or dissertation must include the name of supervisor(s) and the institution.

To publish and disseminate articles, Jurnal Psikologi requires the publishing rights. This is determined by the Copyrights Transfer Agreement that accompanies the publication process of the author’s accepted manuscript. This agreement deals with the transfer of the publishing rights to Jurnal Psikologi, and Author(s) retain significant rights to use and share their own published articles.   1. The name and email address entered into this journal site will be used only for journal purposes and will not be used for any other purpose.
  2. The peer-review of a manuscript is a confidential process. Reviewers should keep the whole process completely confidential.
  3. Reviewers should not disclose any information whatsoever to anyone before publication of the manuscript.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication Charges (APCs): 1500000.00 (IDR)

All the articles published in Jurnal Psikologi are open access and free to access.
Manuscript submission fees are associated with only accepted articles to cover the costs of making the final version of the manuscript freely available via open access.

This journal charges the following author fees: 1,500,000 IDR. The author must pay the fee once the article has been accepted for. The fee listed is used for paper translation/proofreading and additionally the author will receive 5 copies of the journal. 


The corresponding author will be notified of the invoice (APCs). The author will receive a link in the form of a DOI article link which can be shared via email and social networks. The author will receive a printed version, then it will be sent by post. Furthermore readers can be ordered journal printed version from official web page.
