Pemberdayaan Orang Tua tentang Alih Teknologi Bayam terhadap Status Gizi Balita Era Pandemi COVID-19

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Prinsip keragaman makanan merupakan upaya pencegahan anemia pada balita. Upaya pemenuhan gizi mikronutrien dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan bayam yang mengandung zat besi dan dimodifikasi menjadi makanan yang disukai balita melalui pemberdayaan orang tua.
Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberdayaan orang tua tentang alih teknologi bayam terhadap status gizi balita.
Metode: Rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 300 orang tua balita, dengan 171 sampel yang diseleksi dengan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square.
Hasil: Pemberdayaan orang tua yang meliputi tingkat pengetahuan orang tua yang baik dengan status gizi anak baik sebesar 94,2%, sedangkan tingkat pengetahuan orang tua yang kurang dengan status gizi anak lebih sebesar 50%. Orang tua yang suka menyajikan makanan berbahan dasar bayam secara bervariasi dengan status gizi anak baik sebesar 99,3%, sedangkan orang tua yang tidak suka menyajikan makanan berbahan dasar bayam secara bervariasi dengan status gizi anak lebih sebesar 100%. Sikap orang tua yang mendukung dengan status gizi anak baik sebesar 99,1%, sedangkan sikap orang tua yang tidak mendukung dengan status gizi anak lebih sebesar 100%.
Kesimpulan: Nilai p-value=0,001 berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pemberdayaan orang tua terhadap status gizi balita.
