Important updates regarding journal policy and service guidelines

1. To enhance our services, we are committed to expediting publication. Editors will make every effort to complete the review process within 8 weeks. If authors have not received a response by then, kindly email the editors, and we will respond as soon as possible. 
2. Only manuscripts adhering to the JCEF format and meeting our quality standards will be processed.
3. Before forwarding articles to reviewers, the editorial team will conduct an initial check for similarity or plagiarism (using tools such as Turnitin). Papers submitted to JCEF must demonstrate a similarity level of less than 15%.
4. Following acceptance, if reviewers still identify significant language issues in an article, authors may be requested to avail themselves of proofreading services. The associated expenses for proofreading will be the responsibility of the author. This update is effective as of February 1st, 2024.
5. Manuscripts submitted by the first author or corresponding author with a Scopus/WoS h-index of at least 7, or those co-authored by individuals from at least two different countries, qualify for a 100% discount on the proofreading fee.
