Humaniora

Humaniora represents an academic peer-reviewed quarterly Journal, founded and first published in 1989, at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. The Journal is published in English and provides a platform for the presentation, analysis, and criticism of work pertaining to Indonesian Humanities.

The editors of the Journal welcome articles and research utilizing interdisciplinary approaches, but pertaining to studies of and work on Indonesian Humanities. Proposals and contributions to the Journal should include any of the scholarly sub-fields which structure the larger discipline of Humanities, which include language, literature, history, anthropology, archaeology, tourism and so forth.

Call For Papers

 

 

Humaniora solicites manuscript submissions which tally to our abovementioned focus and scope.

General requirements:  

  • Articles have not been published or accepted for publication, or are being considered for publication elsewhere. Types of articles suitable for publication include research reports (laboratory, field, archives), conceptual ideas, studies, theory applications. 
  • Articles need to be written in English using standardized academic writing structure and composition. Manuscripts are typed 1,5 spaced in a quarto paper size (A4), between 5000-7000 words in length including references, pictures, and tables.
  • Articles should be in form of essay.
  • Articles should be submitted in soft files using Microsoft Word application to the Online Submission page in Humaniora home site.
