Peer Review Process

JAOSHE applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published articles. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous throughout the review process. The review process includes the following stages:

Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript to ensure that it fits the scope of the journal, meets basic quality standards, and follows submission requirements.

Technical Check
The manuscript undergoes a technical review to ensure compliance with the journal’s formatting guidelines.

Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
a. Originality
b. Scientific quality
c. Methodological rigor
d. Relevance to the journal’s scope
e. Clarity of presentation

Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
a. Accept
b. Minor Revision
c. Major Revision
d. Reject

Revision Process
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts according to reviewer comments.

Final Decision
The editor makes the final decision regarding the acceptance of the manuscript.
