Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

 

Ethical Considerations and Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to JAOSHE must adhere to ethical standards in scientific publishing.

Originality
Authors must ensure that the manuscript: Is original work, Has not been published previously, Is not under consideration by another journal

Plagiarism
All submissions will undergo plagiarism screening using similarity detection software. Manuscripts with high similarity levels may be rejected or returned to authors for revision.

Research Ethics
Research involving human participants must: Receive approval from an institutional ethics committee, Obtain informed consent from participants

Conflict of Interest
Authors must declare any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the research.

JAOSHE applies a minimum standard of similarity score of the manuscript under 20%. The article should be revised or rejected if the manuscript performs above 20%. JAOSHE applies a screening for plagiarism using Turnitin.
