The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
B. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The Journal of Applied Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (JAOSHE) is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows the ethical guidelines and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to JAOSHE must ensure that:
1. Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must submit original work and appropriately cite or quote the work of others. All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software.
2. Multiple or Redundant Publication
Authors should not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal. Manuscripts previously published elsewhere will not be considered.
3. Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.
4. Data Access and Retention
Authors should retain research data and be prepared to provide access to the data if requested by the editors.
5. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the results or interpretation of their work.
6. Ethical Approval
Research involving human participants must obtain approval from an appropriate institutional ethics committee and ensure informed consent from participants.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
1. Evaluating manuscripts fairly and objectively
2. Ensuring decisions are based on academic merit and relevance
3. Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
4. Avoiding conflicts of interest
5. Taking appropriate action in cases of ethical misconduct
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers should:
1. Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback
2. Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript
3. Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors
4. Notify the editor of any potential conflict of interest
Ethical Misconduct
If ethical misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication is suspected, the editorial board will investigate the case following COPE guidelines. Appropriate actions may include:
1. Manuscript rejection
2. Retraction of published articles
3. Notification to the author’s institution if necessary
