Arnawa is a scholarly beacon that illuminates the rich tapestry of Javanese identity through a multidisciplinary exploration of Javanese language, literature, and culture. ARNAWA embraces the exploration of classical and contemporary Javanese literary expressions. We welcome scholarly articles, analyses, and interpretations that delve into the diverse genres of Javanese literature, from ancient parwa and kakawin to modern prose, geguritan and drama. Our journal is dedicated to the study and preservation of the Javanese language. We encourage linguistic research, linguistic variation studies, and language revitalization efforts, fostering a scholarly environment that values the linguistic richness of the Javanese people. ARNAWA also celebrates the multifaceted aspects of Javanese culture.
