📣 Call for Papers: Jurnal Arnawa Vol. 4 No. 1 (2026)

Jurnal Arnawa invites scholars, researchers, lecturers, and postgraduate students to submit their original research articles for Volume 4 Number 1 (July 2026). This peer-reviewed journal is dedicated to philological, literary, linguistic, and cultural studies of local textual traditions across the Indonesian archipelago, with a primary focus on Javanese sources, while also welcoming studies on Balinese, Sundanese, Buginese, and other regional traditions.

📝 Scope of Topics

We welcome interdisciplinary contributions rooted in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Philology and textual criticism
• Manuscript and inscription studies
• Oral literature and performance traditions
• Historical and comparative linguistics of local languages
• Literary heritage from classical to modern periods
• Cultural hermeneutics and local epistemologies of Nusantara
